In this article, the clinical 31 cases patients with Rheumatoid artritis (RA) were observed and animal experiments were carried out on RA model rats and the treatment of acupuncture with combination of the different points was adopted. It was found that most of the 31 cases of RA patients had the signs of bloods stasis and abnormal hemorheology, statistical analysis indicated that there were significant differents between RA patients and healthy person. Red and swelling in joints of four limbs, ear and tail, clubbed toes, abnormal hemorheology, high in blood platelet aggregation and so on were found in model rats of RA, statistically, sinificant differents also exist between model rats of RA and healthy rats. The above indesexes in patients and model rats of RA were significantly improved after acupuncture treatment, which suggested that (1) there be a close relation between RA and blood stasis. (2) acupuncture play a role of promoting blood circulation to remove blood statis. (3) examination of hemorheology may be one of standards that development of RA and curative effect.

Исследование связи ревматоидного артрита (РА) с застоем крови - эффект иглоукалывания, стимулирующего кровообращение в целях утранения застоя крови.

Больница Changzheng, Шанхай. Отдел Традиционной китайской медицины.

В этой статье описываются клинические наблюдения 31 пациента, страдающих ревматоидным артритом (РА). Также были проведены эксперименты на животных - на крысах модели РА.

Применено лечение иглоукалыванием с помощью комбинаций различных точек.

Выяснилось, что большинство из 31 пациентов, страдающих РА, имело признаки застоя крови и нарушения кровообращения, статистический анализ которого указал на существенные различия между пациентами, страдающими РА, и здоровым человеком.

В подопытных крысах модели РА было выявлено покраснение и опухание суставов конечностей, ушей и хвоста, утолщение пальцев ног, нарушения кровообращения, высокое скопление тромбоцитов и тд. Статистически, также были выявлены значительные различия между подопытными крысами модели РА и здоровыми крысами.

Вышеупомянутое состояние пациентов и подопытных крыс модели РА было значительно улучшено после лечения иглоукалыванием.

Данное исследование предполагает: 1) существование близкой связи между застоем крови и РА; 2) активную роль иглоукалывания в стимулировании кровообращения в целях устранения застоя крови; и 3) с помощью анализа кровообращения можно отслеживать развитие РА и эффект от лечения."

Ревматоидный артрит. Rheumatoid - суффикс oid переводится, как похожий.
Дословно - похожий на ревматизм.

Study on the Chinese herbal formula for treatment of vaginitis and the antimicrobial activity in murine models.

OBJECTIVE: To study on the various proportions of Radix Sophorae Flavescentis, Cortex Phellodendri, Fructus Cnidii and pericarp of Zanthoxylum bungeanum Maxim in the formulas, whose antimicrobial effects on E. coli, S. aureus, P. aeruginosa and C. albicans under different pH values were compared in vitro. METHODS: According to Chinese ancient proved recipe, the K-B method and plate diluting method were adopted to measure antimicrobial activity, and orthogonal design to ascertain the herbal formula in vitro. Finally, murine models were established to test the antimicrobial activity in vivo through vaginal membrane irritancy experiment, negative rate of pathogeny and pathological grade of vaginal membrane. RESULTS: The results suggested that formulas with different proportions of the herbs had diverse antimicrobial activities, and the effect was shown to be most obvious when one milliliter drug contains 100 microl Fructus Cnidii-pericarp of Zanthoxylum bungeanum (2:1) co-extracted volatile oil and 50 microl Radix Sophorae Flavescentis and Cortex Phenodendri ethanol extraction respectively under pH6. The antimicrobial effect of the formula, which hardly had any membrane irritancy, was better than Jie Eryin in vitro and vivo. CONCLUSION: The fromula has few components and better effect, and adaptation to the pH value of vaginitis. It is a promising alternative for gynecological diseases.
